The UMBC Retrievers Ice Hockey Team has made The Piney Orchard Ice Arena its home rink for the past four seasons, and looks forward to continuing to make it our home in the years to come. The team now has a 10,000 square foot facility, the space (previously occupied by the Washington Capitals) provides the Dawgs with a 47 seat locker room, players' lounge, coaches' offices, weight training 
facility, trainer's room, equipment room, and more. When players enter through their own seperate entrance, they know that the 
Retrievers are (literally) being provided a professional-quality locker room facility.
Piney Orchard rink provides fans with a large seating capacity, snack bar, and pro shop. Piney Orchard is the perfect fit for the Retrievers.
