Assistant Coach Ulerich grew up playing hockey in Pittsburgh for Shady Side Academy and various travel organizations.  Notably, he was a member of the Regional Select team for four years, led the Mid-West Prep League in scoring, left Shady Side as its all-time leading scorer, represented Team Pittsburgh in the Chicago Showcase, and was named Hockey Night in Boston's Mid-West Player of the Year in 2003.  

Ulerich played his collegiate hockey at Princeton University where, among other achievements, he was named Male Club Sport Athlete of the Year, MACHA MVP, and an ACHA All-American.  He helped lead Princeton University to the 2005 MACHA Playoff Championship, after a second place finish in 2004.  More recently, he completed his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering while playing out his final year of eligibility at Stanford University.

Ulerich has worked as an instructor at various hockey camps and, as a captain, has been an active aid to his coaches for years.  He is excited to make the transition to a full coaching position. 

 

Coach Ulerich currently resides in Odenton, Maryland and works for Northrop Grumman.
