Hench is a grinder and excels in the corners.  Hustles on every shift and creates opportunities.  He finished out with a solid year totaling 27 games, 2 goals, 8 assists, and 32 penalty minutes.

Background:
Kyle joins UMBC from the York Devils program, where he helped them to back-to-back DVHL Championships and a USA Hockey Nationals berth.  Kyle also participated in Mason Dixon Selects and was a Keystone State Games Gold Medalist.

Has one brother, Eric.  Son of Lori and Thomas Hench.  Born December 7, 1989.
