2007-08:
Selected Team Captain for the 2007-08 season after outstanding leadership in prior years. Stepped up his game against top competition and notched two goals and one assist in ACHA Regional Tournament to lead UMBC over Ohio State 4-1. Broke the 100 point mark in the game against Ohio State and moved into 15th All-Time in UMBC Scoring with 105 points in his career. MACHA All-Star selection. Finished out the season with 30 games played, 50 points, 30, and 40 penalty minutes.
2006-07:
Anchored one of UMBC's top lines in first full season with the Retrievers. Third on the team in points, playing in every UMBC game. Had a 5 goal game against Temple in the ACHA Regional Tournament, leading UMBC to an 11-4 win. Stepped up leadership role and received UMBC's MVP award after strong sophmore showing. Had 31 games played, 48 points, 7, and 72 penalty minutes.
2005-06:
Transferred in during Spring semester and moved into top forward lines immediately. Quickly proved his impact with 6 goals in his first 7 games. Finished his shortened season with 7 games played, 7 points, even, and 4 penalty minutes.
Background:
Former Team Captain for Little Flyers Midget Major, Archbishop Ryan AAA, and Little Flyers Jr B programs. Selected to Flyers Cup All-Tournament team as a sophmore in high school. Played for Team Philadelphia in the Chicago Showcase Tournament and earned two silver medals in the Keystone State Games. Attended Hockey Night in Montreal (HNIM), selected to All Prospect Game, and represented HNIM in the Chowder Cup.
Has a sister, Debbie. Son of Debbie and John Fetscher. Born October 3, 1986.
