Evan Gwinn
	Director of Game Day Operations   2nd Season

Evan is from the Washington D.C. area, playing hockey for travel A programs at Bowie, Chesapeake, and Tri City. He played high school hockey at Bowie High School, where he was also the captain his senior year. Following high school, he attended UMBC where he played defense for all four years he was enrolled. Evan graduated with a B.A. in History in the summer of 2009, and is now attending school for Air Traffic Control.  He brings a lot of experience with hockey, but furthermore brings great knowledge about UMBC as a university, and a hockey program.  Moreover, his four years has brought him a lot of loyalty to the Retriever name.

As Director of Game Day Operations, Evan is a key member of our off-ice staff.  Evan is responsible for organizing every aspect of game-night preparations and post-game work.  During the game he runs the camera for the online broadcasts.  He is also an invaluable member of our recruiting program, always willing to step in to handle a campus tour, attend a player showcase, or speak to prospective players about the UMBC program.
