Steve Hauser joined our Scouting Staff in 2006 following three seasons as an assistant coach under head coaches Chris Wood and Dan Grisanti. During his playing career as a Retriever, Steve was an outstanding Centerman and Wing, and served as Captain during his final two seasons. He holds a coaching certificate from USA hockey and serves as a hockey clinician at various youth camps. Steve resides in Lafayette, Pennsylvania, where he works as Pennsylvania - New Jersery Regional Scout. He received his PH.D in Biochemistry in 2006 and is engaged in anti-cancer compound research for a major pharmaceutical firm.
Steve received his doctorate from UMBC in Organic Chemistry where he developed and synthesized potential anti-cancer compounds. He is now developing and synthesizing anti-HIV/AIDS compounds, and resides near Lafayette, PA.
